A Review of Credit Fraud Alert Policies at Chase Identity Services
Chase Identity security center provides a number of links that provide additional information including the means that Chase uses to protect their customers. The privacy policy provides the means in which in this day and age of information sharing that it works to ensure that the information collected is used and stored in an appropriate manor. In addition, Chase by law must provides certain aspects of the information that is collected to various credit tracking areas, which requires providing the secure information in accordance with laws and regulations. Chase also offers its customers 3 levels of protection regarding information sharing which they employee. The collection of social security numbers is required by law and ultimately necessary for tracking and identifying the credit history. Chase works to comply with all federal standards for the protection of social security numbers and employees the same protections as outlined above.
Chase’s children’s online privacy policy also complies with the federal standards and does not require children under the age of 13 to provide any personal information. Chase also provides several links so that the consumer may find out more about the requirements under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act if the consumer feels that additional protection measures are required by law.
